Australia's top selling bull for 2009
GLENLANDS NONE BETTER (PS)
Aged 26 months & weighing 926kgs, Glenlands None Better (PS) was the nations highest selling bull of all breeds in 2010. With a rib eye of 134cm sq the youngster topped our 2009 Glenlands Genetics Sale at $65,000 selling to Theodore breeders, Cec, Elaine and Emily Pelling, Fernleigh Stud. None Better was sold in a three quarter share - full possession arrangement. Since then we have utilized this 'meat machine' in our 2010 ET programmes. By the former breed record holder in Swan Jeopardise (P), None Better is from a daughter dam by Glenlands 2909. At five years she has produced four natural calves, three bulls, None Better and two others by Federation and Calioran Benson. Her other product, a retained female has already produced a son by Swan Kingaroy. None Better's extended female line shows a granddam that is still active after producing six calves including former show winner, Lilac and a great granddam that delivered 10 calves. These offspring set up families that have delivered Dynamo, Delilah (10 calves), Angel and Disclose to mention a few.
