$17,000 new sire for Glenlands

Fernleigh Ringer (P) is the latest sire acquisition for Glenlands. The 23-month-old bred by the Pelling family, Fernleigh Stud, Theodore was purchased in partnership with the Talgai Stud, Rolleston Qld for $17,000 at last Friday's annual Piggott Droughtmaster Sale, Springsure.
A son of Glenlands Ivan (P) and from a daughter of Wingfield Biggles. Ringer carries over five crosses of Greenacres Juilien in his extended pedigree and genes of the RNA champions, Boris (two crosses) and Glenlands Ignatious within the first three generations. Glenlands Ivan's granddam is Kengoon Mocha 92/567 - the dam of the resident sire Glenlands Hired Hand (P).
