Under judge Brett Nobbs (Inverrio, Duaringa) and his associate Renee Rotherford (Redskin Stud, Morinish) the Childs family, Glenlands Stud, collected 13 broad ribbons.
Supreme exhibit and Grand and Senior Champion was the 31 month old 934kg team leader, Glenlands Hilton (Glenlands Emblem) who fended off stable mate, Glenlands Hatch (26 months), a 882kg son of Cungelella Farmhand into the reserve spot.
The junior champion bull was another Element son, Glenlands Issac (23 months) weighing 732kg.
Other highlights:
- Glenlands Invincible took home the Calf Champion for Males, and his reserve was Glenlands Emmense
- Glenlands secured the breeders group and the sires progeny group (Swan Horsham)
- Junior Champion Female was the daughter of Crusader Mission II, Glenlands Iris
- Reserve was Glenlands Innocence from the 15 to under 17 month class
- Glenlands Fame secured reserve Senior Champion Female
Toogoolawah Show: Glenlands Cleans Up

Glenlands had a hugely successful day at the 2004 Toogoolawah Droughtmaster Feature Show. Highlights include:
- Glenlands Hatch won the 24-30 months class, senior bull championship, and grand champion
- Glenlands Impressive won junior bull champion
- Glenlands Ignite won reserve junior champion
- Reserve junior champion was awarded to Glenlands Innocence
- Senior champion cow was won by Glenlands Fame (winner under 30 months)
- Reserve senior female Glenlands Iris, winner 20-24 months
- Fame also took out female grand champion
- Glenlands Stud was also the most successful exhibitor with a runaway 88 points

Glenlands tops Cow and Calf SEQ Female Sale

Glenlands D 01/17 by Swan Horsham with an excellent heifer calf at foot and PTIC topped the Cow and Calf Section at this years SEQ Female Sale selling to Craig and Sue Bell, Coraki NSW for $6250.
Glenlands also secured the second top price in the Cow and Calf with 01/69 for $4000 selling to Malcom and Tracy Newton, Malland.
New breed record $15,000 heifer

Another breed milestone was reached recently with the sale of an unjoined heifer for $15,000.

The Childs family, Glenlands Stud, Bouldercombe, has sold Glenlands Heidi, an 18 month old daughter of Glenlands Emblem (Cungelella Farmhand) privately for the record price of $15,000. Purchasers of the female who went on to become the calf champion female at Beef 2003 were the Purnell family, Calioran Stud, Alton Downs. Heidi is the first calf from the Crusader Mission II daughter, Glenlands Fame, who clinched the grand champion female award at the same expo. Fame now has a bull calf at side by Glenlands 1140.
Another two females were also purchased at the same time by the same prefix from Glenalnds for $10,000 each. Glenlands Helga (21 months) by Sunderland Bolero and showing a maternal double cross of Swan Easy along with Glenlands Hannah a 20 month old poll daughter of Swan Factor with a maternal cross of Swan 609 and Wallace Vale Don.
All three have entered the elite ET programme that is conducted at Calioran on a regular basis.
